MOVING ON AND LETTING GO!!

This has been a very trying year for me, and my family, full of let downs, illness and broken promises. You know what though that is okay for in a few days it will be a new year with new beginnings. All the rot has been shed and 2013 will be joyous in so many ways. Wait it has already started!
What this year holds for my family as of yet I am not completely sure, I do know this though it is going to be full of joy, laughter and above all HONESTY! and that is the extent of it... I cannot wait for all the NEW, Beautiful, Refreshing things that are coming our way.

LOOK OUT WORLD WE ARE COMING AND THRIVING!!!

I am extending my learning into new ways to take care of my families health and wellness through holistic measures. Just one of my passions that will be full filled this year. Part of which is thanks to the wonderful Laura Emily and her Apothecary Circle. I cannot be more grateful to her for offering this amazing gift!

The hubby and I have come up with plan to be completed before 2014... more blogging on that later. I plan to blog a lot more this coming year. I have lots of plans that are finally coming together and I cannot wait to share.

“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson

I plan to live by this quote as much as possible. Who knows how much longer each of us has in this world. I plan to make the most of it. Had some major medical discoveries the last few day and hopefully I am on the mend. It is going to take time and lot of healing, but I promise myself, my husband and my children I will come through on the other side stronger and learn to love myself not matter what is thrown my way!

Inner Peace Is The New Motto In My Home!

May the new year bring Peace, Love and above all JOY no matter what life throws at you. <3

Crazy and Insane... Yes Please

So I just signed Heath and I up for the warrior dash... hahaha! yeah crazy huh! The insane part is the training that is involved to be able to complete the 3.11 mile course which is filled with mud, ropes, barbed wire and fire!
So this is the beginning of our journey... the babysitter is lined up so there are no more excuses! today i completed week 2 day 2 of the 5krunner iphone app. I love this app it absolutely kicks my butt every time but so worth it.
Heath and I also started p90x... Oh please save me now! I hurt from head to toe. I know it will be worth it not only for my weight loss goals, but to show my kids that anything you put your mind to can be done with a little bit of insanity thrown in :)
So look for more updates on our progress... Hahaha if I don't post anything it maybe because I am curled up in a fetal position on my kitchen floor and my kids are poking me with sticks....

Fishing Day

What a great way to start a weekend. My husband (who never likes to plan anything) decided to plan a fishing trip with all the kiddo's today. So we got up went to cracker barrel and ate breakfast at lunch time as the service was soooooooo slow! it took an hour for them to seat us and seemed like forever before we go t our food. When done we headed on our way to the new fishing spot he had been told about. We usually have a hard time doing things like fishing in the summer due to having a red headed kid and three very fair skinned kids. Only one child got blessed with olive skin Raidyn (lucky little sh*t...). This new spot was perfect for us as it had a covered dock :)

Heath, Piryn Éiria

The locust and spider web were both Piryn finds :) he is so observant!!

I just love how Cyprus Knees look.

Mylan,Éiria & Raidyn

 Kyllian

Piryn

   Alligator Gar

So we told all the kids that we were not there to really catch anything as we just wanted to be out doors, enjoy the day and teach Kyllian and Piryn how to reel in as they had never done it before. low and behold the youngest child caught himself an Alligator Gar all by himself. Lets just say we had a very chuffed three year old for the rest of the day :)

This sucker was so heavy that it broke the line before we could get it in to take the hook out :(

So to finish off our beautiful fun day we left and drove home.... yeah right... get it right we drove through a torrential thunderstorm where I thought I was gonna shit my pants (which I was not wearing any so it would have been super messy) lightening strikes all along the side of the interstate which had me grabbing the OH SH*T handle. We get off at our exit to be confronted with the roads all flooded and no way to get our stupid minivan through. Man how I miss my expedition (hahahaha had to have a little dig at the husband!)

This is my photo of the day!!! This tractor was in the middle of the interstate.

Boy Dog

Let me introduce you to "Boy Dog" my cute, loving, one of a kind dog. He is my rescue dog. He showed up on our land about 6 months ago beaten and starved. It took me 3 days to get close to him to feed him and check out his wounds :(

Princess will miss him for sure

Today is a sad but joyous day he is 100% well and is going to his forever home this afternoon. I will miss him but he deserves to go to people who have more time for him. Once homeschooling starts here our time will be taken, his new family are grandparents and have a dog that is in need of a friend, boy dog is a perfect fit for them, the gentleman has already met him and it was love at first sight from both parties. His new Mummy came to get him after work <3 he got a new name Buddy!

The Bits

Um. About family. And my crazy ass husband. What is there to say? Well the things I do say come out as a foul mouth sailor. (That's understated.) My husband has corrupted me over the last 11 years. Wink. Excuse me as I listen to him yell for my eldest son, Mylan, like Sebrina calls Byron in Madea's Big Happy Family. This blog will be full of drunk rants, sober rants, happy rants and sad rants. Oh god. Mostly drunk rants. By the way, I have 5 children. Mylan is almost a teenager. He'll be 13 next month. Then a 10 year old son, Raidyn, who thinks he's going on 20. One daughter, Eiria, 8 years old. Heh heh heh. She's hell on wheels. Kyllian is 5. He's the craziest of crazy. His father to a T. Give him a ladder to jump off of and he'll do it. Then the youngest, Piryn. He's 3 and the only momma's boy. Seriously. He can get away with anything. He's a redhead that bats his eyes and anyone will give him anything.

Me? hah hah hah hah hah. Uh. I am not the best person to talk about me. As I try to make my friend Katelyn write about me instead. My name is Donna. I moved from the UK on the 9th of June of 1995 at 18 years old. And I'm on husband number three. Working on number 4. Wink. Skip ahead to now. You may get a drunk rant about my past but for now... I'm a homeschooling momma of 4 because I'm not homeschooling the *almost teen. He likes his public schooling. I've started this blog for sanity,  my weight loss journey and for some freaking human contact outside these 4 walls.

Oh by the way. This is the husband.

And now it all makes sense.

Welcome to my life.
Peace.
